Near Space Network Services

Needs Review

Lunar communications relay services for NASA missions. (NAICS 927110)

The $4.82B figure is real and correctly sized (NASA's own award announcement: "maximum potential value of $4.82 billion") but the row presents it as if it were the contract's straightforward value with no indication that it is a 10-year (5-year base + 5-year option) Firm-Fixed-Price Multiple-Award IDIQ CEILING, not an obligated amount -- NASA's own release states the initial incrementally-funded task orders total only $150 million (about 3% of the $4.82B figure this row displays as "the" amount). award_date is also off by about 7 months (real: September 17, 2024; this row: 2025-04-08). This is the clearest real-world case of exactly the ceiling-vs-obligated conflation this mission exists to fix.

EnhancedView Follow-On

Needs Review

High-resolution satellite imagery services for NGA. (NAICS 541715)

Program identity is stale. EnhancedView originated under NGA, transferred to NRO in 2017, and its follow-on (EnhancedView Follow-On / EVFO) was ITSELF SUPERSEDED in May 2022 by the Electro-Optical Commercial Layer (EOCL) -- a new, separate NRO contract vehicle awarded to Maxar, BlackSky, and Planet together (this same corpus correctly labels the Planet/BlackSky/Capella rows as "EOCL"). A Maxar contract dated 2025-01-30 under the name "EnhancedView Follow-On" is very likely using a retired program name for what should be the same EOCL vehicle the other three rows are correctly filed under. Agency (NRO) is actually correct for this era. Source: businesswire.com/news/home/20220525005388/en/NRO-Awards-Maxar-a-10-Year-Contract-Under-the-Electro-Optical-Commercial-Layer-Acquisition ("The EOCL contract will transition the imagery acquisition requirements currently addressed by the EnhancedView Follow-On... contract").
